Sudanese president honors Chinese military attaché

  On December 20, 2011, Omar Al-Bashir, president of the Republic of Sudan and commander-in-chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, presented the highest Medal of Honor of the Sudanese Armed Forces to Wu Shuchen, Chinese military attaché to Sudan, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to promoting the relations between the two countries and the two militaries.

  Prior to the ceremony, President Al-Bashir met with Luo Xiaoguang, Chinese Ambassador to Sudan, and Wu Shuchen. Al-Bashir spoke highly of the friendly and cooperative relations between Sudan and China, and thanked the Chinese government, enterprises and personnel for their contributions to the development of Sudan.
