Air Force starts flying cadets selection from college-graduate soldiers

　　the PLA Air Force launched on February 21 its flying cadets selection in the year of 2012 from college-graduate soldiers. All the soldiers in the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) who had college  educations before joining the PLA can browse relevant information at allzg.com (the Political Work Website of the PLA) and the “special column of flying cadet selection from college-graduate-soldiers” at zhaofei.cgw.cn and those meeting the basic requirements can sign up for the selection.

　　Selecting flying cadets from college-graduate-soldiers is a new way for the PLA to select and cultivate flying talents. The General Headquarters/Departments of the PLA issued a notice and specified the scope and basic requirements of flying cadet selection from college-graduate-soldiers in 2011: under the age of 25 (by June 30 of the very year); unmarried male; meeting military academies’ selection criteria of political conditions, physical examinations and psychological assessment; acquiring full-time college academic credential and bachelor degree or graduate academic credential and master degree before joining the army, and majoring in science and engineering, or other majors with advanced mathematics and general physics as the main courses.
